INDIAN SUMMERS SUN.

I look out of the open cafe doors
Into an indian summers sun,
A picturesque hue excites the eyes
As the timbre of noon fills the air;
I soak in the essence whilst sipping tea, eating croissant;
Time to spare,
Welcome; the autumn heat, may it linger
May it run.
Soon, the winters breath shall touch the town
See jack frost ride his fun,
Even, when snow lays a thick gown 'round, there's always
Winter's cheer;
Can't say, that I look forward to, this darkest time of year,
And far off shores, seems a cool idea for winter in the sun,
All these thoughts from sipping tea with croissant eats,
        before the days work's done!
