EARTH EGG TIMER.

Another nuclear experiment

More powerful than before,

A political deterrent 

Archaic insensitive thought,

Deciphering the sense for good reason

All answers come to nought,

A burst, a chain reaction

Along the pacific fault.

2006 first saw this action

2009 sees rumblings of nature's wrath,

Violation of a resolution in 1718

Has brought the world a dangerous ghost,

But is this a call to be taken notice of 

A 3ft dwarf thinking he's 6ft tall,

Theories, and mixed agendas send confusing messages,

A message to one and all.

Condemnation has no solution except, awareness

        to be sought,

The effect of all experiments do not exemplify

        a cause.

The consequence is catastrophic

But who knows what can come,

Fire from each fault sprout simultaneously

       earthquakes, storms and floods may run,

At times it would be hard to see the sun,

Was this written to come?

Doom and gloom leaves the whole world lame,

It's up to us, to shift hearts and minds, of those maybe,

       playing a fools game

With the gun pointing at the global face.

Is it about winning?

Is it about preserving?

Or is it about the perpetual race,

What makes the breath of fear, galvanize this sensitive state?

One wonders where good sense may lie, when negatives keep churning,

It takes all of us to nurture, instead of burning,

The earth will never die;

Only by permission of the great wind in the sky,

It shall regenerate;

And what's left of the old will see the new rise glorious,

       learning from past mistakes!

The dragon stirs ominously, as we live, watch and wait!
