LOVE.

Because it is without any care,
The supremacy it has is beyond compare;
It's shoved and torn and twisted about,
To suit the needs of a mental cloud.

To define, no-one can;
It comes and goes to fit its own plans:
The results, to what it brings
Is up to how natural and mature the situation is.

Words are used when it doesn't work out,
Excuses are made on a practical roundabout;
But if you think you don't need to think
When it happens to you,
You feel the full sting:
A chance for a permanent secure ending.

TAKING A TURN.

I walk with you in the depths of my imaginings,
A privilege shared with no-one else;
Into lands where feelings become the physics of nature,
And nature is a mans do's.
If I had this to myself, my imaginings wouldn't be a privilege,
But a has been re-occurring fantasy,
With meaning for self gratified thought
To wide open narrow mindedness to inward collection pieces.
But would I be or would it be this way?
One doubts even the spirit when it's lost or with nothing to hold on to:
At times of loneliness, as I walk with you into the depths of my imaginings,
I am privileged to be able to share with you
Things that have never been shared with anyone else before.

FOCUSING MY PLACE.

Within the gaze of things,
I play my part;
Within the stare of life,
My journey is chosen;
To be hypnotized
Into countless obstacles
I have to take,
To find the truth
To find myself;
Mesmerized, into the dutiful doings
Of what the spirit has to undertake.

Fast asleep:
Sometimes at the crossroads of conscious freeways,
The trance like state;
The subconscious rehabilitates by making itself known,
In glimpses of images at those times of dreams,
Mind over matter zone comes into being;
Within the ecstasy of dreams I take my gaze
To the limits, of an incomprehensible mental maze.

Back to the earth
In its naked state;
To see if all the elements of nature
In their worlds,
Go through the same phase;
Within the masquerade of things,
Extremely great and exceedingly small,
I, find myself
As near as I could be,
'To the whole'.

GROWNG UP.

We slowly die from the time we are born.
As children we stress to see make-believe;
We torture ourselves when youth comes around,
And take in what's felt and best to be sound:
Without knowing the whys and wherefores
The seeds are set for the future score.

By manhood the seeds of belief are in bloom-
Narrow and open minds to choose;
One of those you don't know
Has set the path for you to grow,
On a mental show case of worldly ways
We chance our thoughts to get appraise,
No matter what work place or time of day:
Being led by the systems plays;
Then that sudden feeling one fails to lose,
Is to do things in a child's shoes-
To keep yourself quietly amused,
Because as a child
That was naturally you.

SURVIVING CRISIS.

We hear the voice
of realism call,
Words incite reasons
for fear, concern and panick
Nailing futures for all.

Take away hope;
Replace it with stability,
Take away dreams;
Replace them with sensibility,
Discourage the quest for happiness;
And replace it with a weeks holiday,
Take away purpose and incentive;
Replace them with numbing blockages
accepting meagre necessities,
Take away striving for a better quality of life;
And replace it with diminished propensities.
Implications unfounded; yet howl unspoken;
shaping avenues of living extremities.

We hear the voice
of severe truism call,
Hailing signs for panick
Nailing to the mast, an austere future for all.

Let heart, mind and sound ingenuity
rise above the crisis spawned.

ASCENT, DESCEND (2012).

After all frailties have been stretched
and worn,
After all ecological damage is beyond
repair and recall,
After all terror has displayed its scorn,
After all the madness of territorial wars
killing fields of suffering pawns,
After all tsunamis have destroyed and torn,
After the snow caps, melted, and arctic
species, victims of change, are no more,
After all the volcano eruptions blotting
from view the sunlight each morn,
After all the seas cover 9 tenths of earth's
crusted form,
After all the wrongs that may lead to human
downfall by human brawn,
My love for you stands tallest 'til earth
descends into transformation, reborn.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Another year passes,
Breaking in new skin,
Returning again to where I drew first breath,
Shifting the lens of life's glasses,
What we venture aim to win,
Candles blown out for that auspicious wish
Heralds the mark of each years death.
