MY CROWN.

I see the beauty of life as it enfolds me,
This overwhelming love, whatever it is,
I imagine, feels like death in its totality.
Smothered by its raging storms,
It's never calm,
And never quite in place in spheres of working norms.
Hm! 'Whatever normal is supposed to be,'
I struggle to find my central happy feet,
Instead of being a victim of feelings far beyond reach,
Of perceptions and straightforward understandings,
And yet, astounds me at times with its sense of beauty
Unyielding, so commanding.

I grasp a little, what it is all about!
Your essence,
Your existence,
Keeps me solid and grounded,
Though apparent, yet quiet; emotions expound,
Moving surreptitiously in nature's invisible gown,
Simply, your casual presence, makes living my crown.
