Persona, the facade of ones self image; the ego,
Fed by the conceited ego; ones personal identity,
Shaped by the self-interest ego; ones prestigious
individuality,
Governed by an emotive and thinking ego; self
conscience to provide food for its needs.
Power expends intensities; in make-shift degrees,
Environmental influences create needs fuelled by
insecurities,
Persona rebels;
Ego yells,
Ego punishes shamelessly, offending, retorts by exposing fears,
Persona,
Gets into line bends the will to gratify; safe and bloated is ego's
shell,
Stagnant is persona for a while at least until life changes come
to set new scenes;
Persona's face worn by either physical or occupational crippling;
through weeks, months and years.
And negligence, in a short lived rebellious streak of nerve serves
to play havoc, sounding threatening calls to ego's death knell.
Persona;
The face shown to the outside world,
Brainwashed by the moral-ego; society spurns,
We are all victims upholding some sense and kind of worth,
Goaded by one's ego; shaped since birth!
Hmmm - ego battles ...lol

Thanks Jupiterchildren for your comment! And I have to say, I think there is such thing as a good ego and an ego for wearing nice things e.t.c. and doing nice things, and also just being nice!!!
