ABANDONED TO THE CLOSET!

Stifling an idea by dissecting its worth,

Enthusiasm is dampened after

forwarding a creative burst,

I believe ideas good or not so good

Have a right to be heard,

And received in a tone that ones

creative bubble's not being burst,

Also to be left, regardless of outcome,

still in an optimistic thirst.

Being lectured and overridden on an idea

posed,

That it will be received by another in a

Negative show,

Or confronted by a contemptuous retort,

Or refused outright without any thought,

That's another's choice and perogative;

not for us to say,

Constructive criticism posed can be taken

in a gracious way,

But a self fulfilling prophecy's no proof in

foresight and clarity for answers assumed

on how someone else will be, or play.

An idea inspired had been received,

In a negative fashion without feedback

to feed,

The spirit; creative juices, the manna one

needs to eat,

Except for someone's feelings to get over

and say their piece,

But I read and see it as a pessimistic streak,

a blockage which is unsurprisingly plugged in

on constant repeat!
