THIRST NEVER QUENCHED.

A utopian love,

This is not!

If it were we wouldn't know

what true love is!

An everyday conventional love,

This is, sort of!

Based on an intrinsic need

for each other,

Fulfilling the different sides of

personality each other has not;

Respecting each other,

Reading, understanding and being

perceptive of each others flaws,

And not judging or condemning at each 

other's expense to each others cost!

A utopian love,

This is not!

An everyday this world sort of love,

It is!

Based on the very positive nature 

of each other we like the most,

Bringing out the best for true love 

to take hold, grow and mature.

An everyday love this is,

A utopian love this is not!

Yet who or what is stopping us

from reaching those far off shores?

Naive is the prospect,

But real is the hope!

And the thirst is never quenched for more!
