DAWN TO DAWN.

At the dawn of life,
The world was a glow.

By morning,
The wind and the waters flowed.

At midday of life,
Plants grew and birds sang
And animals came to rule the land.

In the afternoon of life,
Man had been born,
To separate its life from the natural spawn.

By mid-afternoon,
Man thought he knew best;
Harmonys become a discordant jest.

At the evening of life,
Man had reached no cure for his ills,
But signed his will, for the seeds of tomorrow
Ever evolving still.
