Acting and striving for some kind of quality of life
Backed by that self imposed time in which to reach the goal planned,
Trying to lay secure foundations to quell potential strife
But the influences that govern an everyday system takes bread from one's hand,
Dreams seep from a desperate shore sometimes come but not how we want
Wishes turn up and parade in half truths to favour and give light to a weakened need
Though different degrees bestow how much water comes from one's fount
And how much is derived from one's inner esteem,
So wishing... is for that want which has potential to be as large as the sun
Though symbolic... creates high aspirations which trigger the hope
of those great things to come!
